AIONIX is building an MES platform for European manufacturing companies. We connect shopfloor data with smart software - from OEE dashboards and production logging to computer vision for quality control. Our goal: to bridge the digital gap between what machines produce and what companies can do with it.
We're a young, technical startup looking for our first employee: a backend developer who wants to help us build the core of our product.
What you'll be doing
- Building the core of our MES platform in Node.js - TypeScript.
- Setting up and managing Docker containers and deployment pipelines.
- Designing and building APIs.
- Working with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Helping shape architecture choices and building systems for scalability.
- Working closely with the founders + plenty of freedom in technical decisions.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript (Node.js)
- Experience with Docker and containerized development
- Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with API design (REST/GraphQL)
- Independent, hands-on, and a strong communicator
- You feel at home in an environment where not everything is already fixed in place and you create structure yourself.
- Fluent in Dutch, willing to work from our office in Rumbeke.
Nice to haves
- Experience with React / frontend development.
- Experience with CI/CD and testing frameworks
- Affinity with industrial software or real-time data systems
- Familiarity with Python
